is there ANYWHERE i can buy a NEW AFE SS cheaper then http://www.axialflow.com/??

Your best bet is to wait for a used one to go on sale, other than the Mazdaspeed s/s they are the only ones who make it. So they charge a pretty penny for it. On rx8club they go on sale once in a while but you have to be quick, the longest I've seen one for sale is maybe 8 hours and then it's sold.

i just paid the 281 for it. :) from what i read its worth it.

I've had my SS installed for a few months now, and love it. The car shifts faster- so you spend more time with power to the wheels instead of sliding through the shift pattern- meaning you are slightly faster.

A worthwhile investment. And yeah, I paid full price, too. Couldn't stand to wait, looking for a bargain, lol.
